Malcolm Silander is a seasoned professional with a strong background in recruitment, management consulting, and public service. As the Managing Partner and Co-founder of Precision BioSearch since November 2020, Malcolm has specialized in executive search for the biotech sector, connecting leaders in next-generation therapeutics with companies focused on innovative medicine. Since May 2023, Malcolm has served as a District Councillor for Leigh & Chiddingstone Causeway at Sevenoaks District Council. Previous experience includes management consulting roles at Talcy and Tempting Ventures, and significant leadership positions at Skills Alliance, including Managing Director and UK Operations Director. Additionally, Malcolm held the role of Managing Director at Theta Partners, focusing on recruitment within technology markets. Earlier career achievements include driving growth for Hays Life Sciences in Canada and leading senior teams within Progressive Pharmaceuticals. Malcolm holds a degree in Sociology and Politics from The University of Edinburgh and a certification in Business Administration from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Sevenoaks District is also known for its Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which account for more than 60 per cent of the District. We collect the bins and the council tax but we provide so much more to make Sevenoaks District a great place to live, work and visit.
