Björn Beckman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Björn currently serves as a Client Director at Seventy Agency, where they work with and coordinates projects for the agency's largest customers. Prior to that, Björn worked at AFRY as a Business area Manager & Product Manager for their Property Technology unit. At AFRY X, they focused on IoT, AI, cyber security, and design to offer world-leading services in energy optimization, maintenance planning, visual AI, documentation, and visualization.

Before joining AFRY, Björn held various positions at Telia, including Product Manager for Telia Smart Living and the Division X team. Björn was responsible for managing and prioritizing backlogs, product development, achieving set KPIs, budgeting, and market analysis. Additionally, they worked on business development within Telia Smart Building, handling proptech solutions for both residential and commercial buildings.

Earlier in their career, Björn worked at Tactel AB as a Project Manager Team Lead, where they budgeted, planned, and drove complex IT projects while leading and coaching a team. Björn also had roles at National Instruments, where they served as a District Sales Manager and Field Sales Engineer, managing sales operations, driving adoption, managing technical projects, and creating business plans.

Björn's work experience also includes a consultant role at ChessIT AB and multiple roles at National Instruments, including Application Engineer, Team Leader, and Internal Sales Engineer. Björn gained deep technical knowledge and expertise in NI hardware, provided technical support to customers, taught courses, and contributed to sales and marketing efforts.

Before embarking on their professional career, Björn served as a Jägare KBS in the Swedish army.

Björn Beckman completed their M.Sc in Vehicle Engineering and Mechatronics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 2003 and 2007. Björn further pursued their education and earned a Master's Degree in Product Development, Managing Innovation, and Industrial Innovation from UC Santa Barbara in 2007-2008. In 2006-2007, Björn attended Stanford University where they completed a one-calendar year course in Mechatronics. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in August 2017.
