Dick then took on the role of Quality Assurance Manager until 1984. In 1984, they joined Severance Foods, Inc. and became the President of the company.
Dick Stevens obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1974. Dick then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in the same field at the same institution from 1974 to 1976. Following that, they attended the University of Connecticut School of Business from 1976 to 1980, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
