Brittney Merlot

Brittney Merlot is an experienced meteorologist currently serving as Chief Meteorologist at Civic Media and as a meteorologist for SevereStudios and Great Lakes Weather Service. Brittney also holds the position of Bureau Chief at Bull Falls Radio WXCO 98.9FM/1230AM. Previous roles include Morning Meteorologist at NBC 26 and Meteorologist at WDIO ABC News 10 and FOX 21 News, where engaging and relatable weather coverage was provided. Brittney's earlier experience includes roles at WIFR-TV and NTC-TV as both a meteorologist and producer, along with an internship at WGN-TV. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Geosciences from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Northern Illinois University.
