In 1960, our story began in the humble neighborhood of Ozone Park, Queens, with a small pastry shop. Joseph Seviroli, the visionary founder, discovered his true passion for pasta-making, specifically the art of crafting exquisite tortellini. This pasta was an exotic delicacy in New York then, but Joseph was determined to change that. So, with his entrepreneurial spirit, he invested in a state-of-the-art pasta-making machine imported from Italy and began manufacturing in the basement of his pastry shop.
Word quickly spread about the mouth-watering taste of Seviroli's tortellini, and before long, the lines of customers stretched out the door. The demand for authentic Italian pasta grew, leading to the acquisition of a nearby building in Garden City, New York. Joseph expanded his operations there, adding three traditional tortellini production lines to the facility. This marked the official birth of Seviroli Foods, a company that would revolutionize the pasta industry.
Today, Seviroli Foods remains a family-owned and operated business. We continue to honor our Italian heritage by using only the finest, authentic ingredients that our grandparents used when crafting pasta from scratch.
