Sarah Whaind

Sarah Whaind has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to data management, business intelligence, and technology leadership. Sarah is currently the VP of Data Management & Business Intelligence at Sevita since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at dentsu international from 2020 to 2023, where they served as the Global Director - Data & Insights and Senior Director, Business Platforms Americas. At dentsu, they played a crucial role in implementing the organization's data strategy, establishing data teams, and leading the consolidation of ERP and CRM systems. Before joining dentsu, Sarah worked at Merkle from 2011 to 2020, where they held positions such as Director of Business Information Systems and Manager of Business Information Systems. During their time at Merkle, they were responsible for areas such as enterprise architecture, GDPR-compliant data governance, and business analytics using Azure and Power BI. Prior to Merkle, Sarah worked at Pondera as a Data Scientist/Data Engineer, where they developed predictive models for fraud detection in public sector welfare programs. Sarah also has earlier experience at SPL WorldGroup, AT&T, and CresSoft (Pvt.) LTD as a Senior Developer and Software Engineer.

Sarah Whaind obtained their BEng degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, between 1989 and 1994. Currently, they are attending the Harvard Business School Executive Education program for Leading in the Digital Era, starting in 2022.
