Adam Shields

Adam Shields is a seasoned professional in the field of biotechnology and physics with extensive experience in product development and research. Since October 2019, Adam has been serving as a Product Development Scientist at Sexton Biotechnologies. Prior to this role, Adam contributed as a Research Scientist at Cook Regentec from January 2015 to October 2019, and at MED Institute - Cook Medical from November 2012 to January 2015. Adam began their career as an NRC Postdoctoral Fellow at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory from 2010 to 2012. Adam holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Science in Physics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from DePauw University.
