Rachel Freeman

Rachel Cook Freeman is the President of the Sexual Assault Center, where Rachel also previously served as the Vice President of Clinical Services and Vice President of Programs. Prior to their current role, Rachel worked as a Clinical Therapist. Freeman also worked as an Adjunct Professor at UT College of Social Work. Rachel holds a MSSW in Social Work from the University of Tennessee and a BA in Sociology from Millsaps College.

Sexual Assault Center

Sexual Assault Center providing counseling, advocacy, and education for children, adults, and families affected by sexual violence. SAC's trained therapists create individual treatment plans using a variety of proven practices for each client. With the knowledge that sexual violence is a preventable crime, educating students and adults throughprimary prevention programs, engaging with state and U.S. legislation for the benefit of survivors, and changing cultural norms is a top priority.
