Daniel Swedlow

Daniel Swedlow is a partner at Seyfarth Shaw LLP, where the practice focuses on labor and employment law with an emphasis on labor relations, advising public and private sector employers in collective bargaining strategies and union organizing campaigns since September 2022. Prior to this role, Daniel was a member at Summit Law Group from July 2015 to September 2022, providing comprehensive representation on labor and employment law, particularly for unionized workplaces. Previous experience includes serving as a senior employee and labor relations consultant at Group Health Cooperative and as associate general counsel for Teamsters Local 117, where Daniel managed legal matters for approximately 16,000 members. Daniel's earlier positions involved litigation and advisory roles in various law firms, notably at Stoel Rives LLP and Stanislaw Ashbaugh, LLP, covering a range of labor and employment issues as well as complex commercial disputes. Daniel holds a JD from the University of Washington School of Law and a BA in history from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
