Mary Jansen Hassan has a strong background in immigration law and policy. Mary started their career as an intern for Former U.S. Representative James Oberstar in 2002. Mary then worked as a Junior Associate at Patuxent Consulting, where they coordinated legislative activities and provided office support. In 2006, they became the Associate Director of Marketing and Member Services at The Atlantic, where they assisted in the development of The Policy Council and managed various events. Mary then joined Dorsey & Whitney LLP as an Immigration Assistant, gaining familiarity with the immigration process and supporting attorneys in case preparation.
