Mary Jansen Hassan

Mary Jansen Hassan has a strong background in immigration law and policy. Mary started their career as an intern for Former U.S. Representative James Oberstar in 2002. Mary then worked as a Junior Associate at Patuxent Consulting, where they coordinated legislative activities and provided office support. In 2006, they became the Associate Director of Marketing and Member Services at The Atlantic, where they assisted in the development of The Policy Council and managed various events. Mary then joined Dorsey & Whitney LLP as an Immigration Assistant, gaining familiarity with the immigration process and supporting attorneys in case preparation. From 2008 to 2014, Mary worked as a Senior Immigration Paralegal/Paralegal Manager at Maggio + Kattar. Currently, Mary is working at Seyfarth Shaw LLP as an Education Lead - Business Immigration Group, where they manage client relationships and prepares various business immigration cases.

Mary Jansen Hassan earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Political Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth in the years 2000 to 2003. In 2001, they also participated in a Study Abroad Program at Salzburg College.
