Jonathan Lim is the current Chief Development Officer at SF GROUP LIMITED. Prior to this, they worked as an audit senior at Cypress Singapore PAC from April 2018 to April 2021.
Some of their key responsibilities included conducting audits for clients in various industries such as shipping, logistics, hospitality, media, commercial & industrial trading, F&B, investment holding, grant research, and non-profit. This involved conducting various procedures such as test of controls, substantive tests, and audit planning. Jonathan was also responsible for consolidation, group reporting, and preparation of financial statements.
In addition, Jonathan has conducted several Special Purpose Audits for clients such as Maritime Sector Incentive-Approved International Shipping Enterprise Scheme (MSI AIS), Fund Raising by Societies, Claim Form Under A Grant Scheme for clients under National Research Foundation (NRF), and Licensee’s Annual Gross Turnover. Jonathan has also performed several Agreed Upon Procedures Audit Engagements for clients such as Child Care Subsidy audit, and stock-take audit.
Some of their other notable achievements include being appointed as a mentor for mentorship programme where they provided guidance to mentees in audit workflow and reviewing mentee’s working papers. Jonathan was also involved with the digitalisation project of the company where they initiated digitalising transport claims by using Grab for Business, e-signature, etc.
Jonathan has also travelled overseas for audit engagement independently.
Jonathan Lim has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of London. Jonathan also has a certification from the CFA Institute in Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Their manager is Collin Ho, Chief Executive Officer. They work with and Michelle Leow - Executive Director.
