Kenneth Howe

Kenneth Howe is a seasoned journalist and editor with extensive experience in economics and finance reporting, particularly in the context of China and Hong Kong. Currently serving as a Freelance Writer and Editor at Ken Howe Journalism since February 2023, Kenneth also holds the position of Managing Editor at the San Francisco Examiner since June 2022. Kenneth's prior roles include Principal at Accessible Economics, focusing on China’s financial landscape from April 2017 to June 2022, and Managing Editor at Caixin Media, a noted independent publication in Beijing, from August 2016 to March 2017. Kenneth has contributed significantly to leading publications such as The Wall Street Journal as Asia Editor for Market Talk from January 2014 to July 2016, and as Deputy Editor and Senior Business Editor at the South China Morning Post from 2007 to 2013. Kenneth’s career began at the San Francisco Chronicle, where key roles included Business Editor and Projects Reporter from 1987 to 2007.
