Alla Arzumanyan

Alla Arzumanyan is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in biotechnology and academia. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Manager of the BSL3 facility at Temple University since September 2010, Alla is leading a novel project focused on the development of SYMBA technology in collaboration with ThirdLaw Technologies, LLC, funded by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. As a co-founder and Chief Development Officer of SFA Therapeutics since August 2017, Alla has played a crucial role in innovating therapeutic solutions. Additional roles include serving as a Biotech Advisor for SmartGateVC since July 2023, providing strategic guidance for early-stage biotech investments, and holding previous positions such as Adjunct Professor at Thomas Jefferson University and Senior Research Scientist at Temple University College of Education. Alla holds a Master's Degree with Honors and a PhD in Biotechnology from Yerevan State University.
