Aleksandr Zhuk

Aleksandr Zhuk is the Chief Information Security Officer at SFOX. Aleksandr has over 20 years of experience in the information security field.

Aleksandr started their career as a software engineer and later transitioned into information security. Aleksandr has worked at various companies, including Axoni, where they were the Information Security Architect. Aleksandr was responsible for all aspects of information security program development, risk assessment, data governance, and regulatory compliance. In 4 months, they transformed the company and its information security program from informed to SOC 2 compliant earning SOC 2 attestation by a Big Four auditor. Aleksandr also introduced the ISO 27001 standard based controls framework.

Aleksandr has successfully passed due-diligence audits by the world’s Top 10 financial services organizations. Aleksandr has also established the enterprise risk management program and led Risk Management Committee allocating and prioritizing investments in information security and technology controls to reduce business risks, while optimizing related costs.

Aleksandr is a highly respected figure in the information security community and is often invited to speak at conferences and events. Aleksandr is also a member of the (ISC)2 Board of Directors.

Aleksandr Zhuk has a Master of Engineering in Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance from The George Washington University, an Executive Education Certificate in Business Strategy from Columbia Business School, a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix, and a B.S. in Business Information Systems from the NYU Stern School of Business. Aleksandr is also certified by Skillable as an Instructor Recognition - First Class Delivered (Cybersecurity Foundations course based on the official CISSP curriculum), ISACA as a CDPSE - Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer, (ISC)² as an Official (ISC)2 Instructor, AICPA as a SOC for Cybersecurity Certificate, ISACA as a CGEIT - Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT, and ISACA as a CISM - Certified Information Security Manager.
