Alexander Angerer

Head of Asia-Pacific at SFOX

Alexander Angerer has a wealth of work experience in the financial services industry. Alexander began their career in 1998 as a Corporal in the Singapore Armed Forces Medical Corps. In 2004, they joined DBS Bank as an Analyst in Equity Capital Markets in Hong Kong, and then as an Assistant Vice President in Foreign Exchange Derivatives Trading in Singapore. In 2009, they became an MBA Summer Intern in Asia-Pacific Equity Structured Products at Citi in Singapore. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Hedge Fund Research Analyst in the Greater Boston Area at NEPC. In 2012, they moved to Whitebox Advisors as an Investments professional. In 2014, they joined Tahan Capital Management as Head of Business Development. In 2016, they co-founded CoinPip, a company that uses blockchain technology to connect the fractured financial world. In 2020, they were appointed Head of Asia-Pacific at SFOX.

Alexander Angerer completed their MBA in Finance Track with specialization in Asset Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a BA (Honours) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics with a concentration in Economics from the University of Oxford in 2003. Alexander also attended Eton College between 1997 and 1998.
