James Wei

James Wei is a dedicated student at Simon Fraser University pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sustainable Energy Engineering. Currently serving as the Vice President Internal and Second-Year Representative for the SFU Sustainable Energy Engineering Student Society, James focuses on organizing initiatives that address the needs of the student community. As a Communications and Radio Frequency Team Member at SFU Satellite Design, James contributes to the development of a satellite ground station for ALEASAT. Leadership roles include serving as the Mechanical Team Lead for the Women In Clean Tech SFU 2024 Design Team, participating in the design of a net-zero energy library, and prior involvement in the 2023 Design Team, where James worked on an Indoor Air Quality Health Meter. Additionally, as a Marketing and Outreach Coordinator for SFU SystemsFair, James plays a crucial role in promoting the largest engineering career fair at SFU Surrey.
