Richard Van Meter

Richard Van Meter has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Richard is currently the Vice President of Operations at S&G Stores since October 2021. Previously, they served as the Director of Operations at Tom Thumb Food Stores Inc. from October 2019 to March 2021. Prior to that, Richard held the role of Vice President of Operations at Certified Oil Corporation from March 2016 to October 2019, where they were responsible for managing 70 company-operated locations. Richard also served as the Marketing and Branding Manager at SunocoLP from 2013 to 2016. Richard's earlier experience includes working as a Principal/Consultant at InStore Profit from 2011 to 2013, Operations Support Manager and Treasurer at Ace Iron from 2009 to 2011, and various management positions at BP from 2000 to 2009, including Operations Manager, Marketing Planning Manager, Project Manager of Retail Strategy, and Manager of U.S. Company Operated Programs.

Richard Van Meter received their BA in Marketing, Psychology, and Communication from The Ohio State University from 1985 to 1991. In 2002 to 2004, they attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management for the Executive Scholar Program. In 2010, they also participated in the Executive Education Series on Strategic Finance for Small Business at Harvard Business School.
