John T. Hobson

John T. Hobson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as a Real Estate Broker at HobGroupRE since March 2020, John also holds the position of Team Lead Manager at Hobson Logistics since January 2019. In addition to these roles, John has been involved with SGA Youth & Family Services as a Mentor-Advocate since September 2010, providing guidance to at-risk students. Previous positions include Area Co-leader at Active Transportation Alliance (2011-2012), Childcare Worker at Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois (July 2010 - September 2010), and Researcher at the Ethnographic Research Laboratory at the University of Illinois (December 2009 - July 2010). John began a commitment to community support as a Resident Advisor at Illini Tower and as a Disability Advocate at Beckwith Hall. Educational achievements include a Master of Public Administration from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
