Matt Beckler is an accomplished tax executive with extensive experience in managing global tax functions across various industries. Currently serving as the Vice President of Global Tax at SMART Global Holdings since April 2023, Matt has held key leadership positions such as Vice President and Global Head of Tax at Genesys and Vice President of Global Tax & Treasury at ON Semiconductor. Notable previous roles include Director of Corporate Tax at The Crosby Group and Chief Tax Officer at Apollo Education Group, where Matt oversaw comprehensive tax and treasury functions. Matt's career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers and includes significant achievements in strategic tax planning, compliance, and team development. Matt holds an MBA in International Business from Arizona State University and a BBA in Accounting from Grand Canyon University.
