Marc Melin

Marc Melin has extensive experience in the field of sales, marketing, and global trade, currently serving as the Head of Global Trade at SGL Carbon since March 2012. Prior to this role, Marc held several key positions at SGL Carbon GmbH, including Vice President for Energy and Sales and Marketing in the Process Technology Business Unit, where Marc achieved significant revenue growth and profitability improvements while overseeing the establishment of new locations and joint ventures. Previous roles include Senior Sales Manager at UHDE GmbH, where Marc managed worldwide sales for Chlor-Alkali electrolyzers, and positions at Carl Schenck AG as both a sales engineer and group leader. Marc holds a Diplom in Verfahrenstechnik and Maschinenbau from RWTH Aachen University, completed in 1994.
