James Coble is an experienced XRD Lab Analyst at SGS Galson since June 2021, specializing in the analysis of silica polymorphs and interpretation of XRD diffractograms for client communication. Coble obtained a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the State University of New York College at Oswego, with previous studies in Environmental Studies at Ursinus College. Prior roles include a part-time position at First Environment, contributing to environmental casework and remediation planning, and internships focused on contaminant testing and site safety monitoring. Coble has also held leadership positions at Curtis S. Read Scouting Reservation, overseeing ecology education and camp operations.
