Jennifer Elder is an Ion Chromatography Lab Analyst at SGS Galson since December 2021, with previous experience as a Laboratory Technician at Life Science Laboratories Inc. from May 2021 to November 2021, where methods included analyzing anion concentrations in soil and water. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at multiple institutions, including Michigan State University and Green Mountain College, Jennifer focused on enzyme purification for biocatalysis studies, multivariate data analysis related to Lyme Disease, and associations between Ixodes Scapularis and its microbiome. Jennifer also contributed to academia as a peer tutor and teaching assistant. Jennifer holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Chatham University (2019-2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Green Mountain College (2016-2019).
