Kirsty Walker

Kirsty Walker is an experienced molecular quality control analyst currently working at SGS as a Molecular QC Analyst 2 since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior QC Technician and Shift QC Technician at LumiraDx from August 2020 to August 2022, and a Temporary Production Technician at Neogen Corporation in early 2020. Kirsty also held a position as Associate Scientist I at BioReliance, alongside private tutoring for high school students in various science subjects. As a STEM Ambassador for Science Connects from November 2017 to January 2020, Kirsty volunteered to inspire young people to enter STEM fields. Earlier work experience includes sales roles at Cash Generator Limited and Mamas & Papas, complemented by educational qualifications including an MSc in Advanced Biomedical Science and a BSc in Biomedical Sciences, both from the University of the West of Scotland.
