Kofi Mireku

Kofi Mireku is a microbiologist with extensive experience in leadership and research within the scientific and educational sectors. Currently serving as a Microbiologist II at SGS since June 2020, Kofi previously held roles such as Student Chapter Founder and President at Médecins Sans Frontières from January to June 2020, and Information Technology Specialist at the CAT Center from May 2017 to May 2020, focusing on online course development and ADA compliance. Kofi's leadership capabilities are demonstrated through positions like NSLS Team Lead and Vice President of the Caldwell University Honors Society. In addition to practical roles, Kofi contributed to research on Xanthine Oxidoreductase at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and explored innovative approaches to acne treatment. Kofi holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Computing Information Systems from Caldwell University and is pursuing a Master's degree in Molecular Science and Software Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley.
