Suqin Yi

Suqin Yi has a diverse work experience in the fields of data analytics, solution architecture, and system development. Suqin is currently employed at SGX Group as the Head of Data & Analytics, a role they started in April 2022. Prior to this, Suqin held various positions at SGX Group, including Vice President / Lead Data Scientist and Assistant Vice President, where they were responsible for developing analytics, driving innovation initiatives, and automating business and operation activities. Suqin also served as the Assistant Vice President / Solution Architect, leading the design and development of a new bilateral trade registration system. Suqin's work at SGX Group spanned from July 2013 to March 2022.

In 2019, Suqin worked as a Data Scientist at NUS AI Centre in Suzhou, China, as part of their Master of Science Business Analytics program. During this engagement, they led a team of three in developing a healthcare IOS application that utilized deep learning models to support users in their pregnancy journey.

Prior to joining NUS AI Centre, Suqin worked as a System Developer at Nordad from May 2006 to June 2009. In this role, they developed and maintained an online CMS system that included inventory management and automation of business processes. The system provided online access for sales personnel, simplified purchase order generation, and offered clients online statement of account access.

Overall, Suqin Yi has gained extensive experience in data analytics, solution architecture, and system development throughout their career.

Suqin Yi completed a Master of Science degree in Business Analytics at the National University of Singapore from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, Suqin obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computing, with Honors, from the same university. Additionally, they participated in an Exchange Programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where they studied Computing.
