Sandy Terblanche

Sandy Terblanche has extensive work experience in the legal and compliance field. Sandy started their career as a Candidate Attorney and Professional Assistant at DeVries Shields Chiat Attorneys in 2006, where they managed a practice of approximately 300 files and provided legal advice to clients. In 2011, they joined Stalker Hutchison Admiral (Pty) Ltd as a Legal Advisor, where they formulated opinions on claims and assisted with drafting various company policies and procedures. In 2015, Sandy became the Head of Legal & Compliance at the same company. In 2020, they joined Santam Ltd as a Regulatory Coordinator/Specialist.

Sandy Terblanche attended Stellenbosch University from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Bcomm (with Law) & LLB degree in Law. In 2013, they attended Wits Law School and earned a Post-graduate Certificate in the Law of Banking & Financial Markets, specializing in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law. Then, in 2015 to 2016, Sandy pursued an Advanced Post-graduate Diploma in Risk Management at UNISA.
