Gili Kurtser

Gili Kurtser is a Data Scientist at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem since December 2024, with prior experience as a Data Science Course Developer and Programming Instructor at Cyber Education Center from April 2023 to November 2024. Gili also completed a Data Science internship at CIDR in mid-2023 and worked as a Geospatial Data Scientist at Kando from March 2022 to March 2023, where an algorithm was developed for the early detection of disease outbreaks utilizing non-periodic time series data. Previous experience includes serving as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst at the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics from March 2021 to March 2022. Gili holds a Master of Science in Geophysics (Oceanography) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Earth Science from the same institution, alongside a minor in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel.
