Brendan Lowther

Manager, National Program Operations at Shad Canada

Brendan Lowther, M.Ed, is an experienced professional in program management and student services, currently serving as the Manager of National Program Operations at Shad Canada since June 2023. Brendan also holds the position of Doping Control Officer at the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport since January 2022. Prior roles at the Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association included Services Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing multiple student services and events, and Director of Student Engagement, focusing on enhancing student experiences. Earlier experience includes Operations Manager at Communitech, overseeing collaborations with numerous partners, Director of Exhibits and Facilities at The Waterloo Regional Children's Museum, and Personal Care Manager at The Independent Living Centre of Waterloo Region. Brendan holds a Master of Education in Student Affairs from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Arts in Recreation and Leisure Studies from the University of Waterloo, alongside a diploma in Recreation and Leisure Administration from Mohawk College.
