Chander Shekhar

Chander Shekhar has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Chander established SHADE as Founder CEO in 1984 and has worked as the Chief Designer in this design enterprise. Chander currently operates as a consultant for SHADE, where they have worked on a wide range of products and services for domestic and international clients. Chander has also served as a Chief Design Consultant for various establishments, including UNO, British Council, US AID, Norway and German embassies, Tupperware, Coca Cola, NDTV, LaSalle, Oxfam, Citibank, Usha, Philip Morris, and Whirlpool.

In addition to their role at SHADE, Chander Shekhar has held various positions in other organizations. Chander served as the Dean of the World School of Design, where they were responsible for setting up the graphic and product design faculties. Chander has also worked as a Design Contractor for US AID, a Design Consultant for NDTV, and a Visiting Faculty & Consultant for the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.

Chander Shekhar's expertise in design and creativity extends to their experience with UNICEF. Chander worked as a Chief Designer and Design Consultant for UNICEF India, where they were involved in various projects related to water and sanitation. Chander Shekhar completed their liberal arts and sciences education at Springdales New Delhi from 1968 to 1974. Following that, they pursued a full diploma in Design and Visual Communications, General at the National Institute of Design for a duration of 5 1/2 years from 1975 to 1980.
