Allan Muhwezi

Allan Muhwezi has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering and application development.

Starting in 2015, they completed an internship at the Uganda Communications Commission.

In the same year, they also worked as a Mobile Application Developer at The Student Hub, where they developed and maintained the Career Master app.

From 2015 to 2017, Allan was self-employed as an Application Developer, freelancing in Android, Web, and Java Desktop application development. During this time, they developed Android apps for various clients and also created desktop software for managing businesses.

In 2016, they joined 2ambale as a Software Engineer, specializing in Android and web development. Allan was responsible for developing and maintaining the 2ambale Android app.

In 2018, Allan worked as a Backend Software Engineer at Nira, where they consumed various APIs and set up different authentication methods for accessing user information quickly.

Allan then joined Sling TV in 2019 as a Backend Software Engineer, working with Python and Go.

Starting in 2020, Allan worked as a full-stack engineer at Seesaw Learning through Andela. Allan was part of the Schools and Admins team.

Currently, they continue their software engineering career as a Software Engineer at Seesaw Learning.

Allan Muhwezi's education history begins with their high school education at Ntare School Mbarara, which took place from 2006 to 2011. Allan then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering at Makerere University from 2012 to 2016. Currently, Allan is enrolled at Maharishi International University, where they are expected to complete a Master of Science in Computer Science from 2021 to 2023.
