Malcolm Lamont

Malcolm Lamont is a highly experienced animator with a robust career in stop motion and animation. Currently serving as Lead Animator at ShadowMachine since March 2023, Malcolm previously contributed as a Senior Stop Motion Animator for Guillermo Del Toro's "Pinocchio." Additional notable roles include Animation Supervisor for Netflix's "Wendell and Wild" and Lead Stop Motion Animator for LAIKA on acclaimed films such as "The Boxtrolls," "Kubo and the Two Strings," and "Missing Link." Furthermore, Malcolm has experience as an Adjunct Instructor in Advanced Stop Motion at the Pacific Northwest College of Art. Early career contributions include work at Aardman Animations and Cosgrove Hall Films, showcasing a significant breadth of expertise in the animation industry.
