Lawrence Friedman

Lawrence Friedman has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Lawrence has held various leadership roles in different companies and has a strong background in operations and revenue integrity.

In their most recent position at Shady Grove Fertility, Lawrence serves as the Senior Director of RCM & Patient Financial Services. Prior to that, they were the Chief Operating Officer (Interim) at Inception Fertility Ventures, where they developed and executed a gap analysis to improve revenue cycle functions tied to patient access.

Lawrence also worked as a Healthcare Consultant at Warbird Consulting Partners, LLC, where they provided consulting services to hospital systems and physician practices, focusing on operations and revenue integrity issues. Lawrence led reengineering activities for patient access functions and identified best practice design and under-utilized functionalities in various applications.

Before that, Lawrence was the Chief Integration Officer at IntegraMed Fertility, where they played a key role in executing company strategic goals and leading integration strategies. Lawrence also worked as the Chief Operating Officer at IntegraMed America Inc., partnering with practices to improve operational capacity and oversee service delivery.

Prior to these roles, Lawrence served as the Senior Vice President of Operations and Administration at IntegraMed America Inc. and as a Principal and Founder at Healthcare Management Strategies Inc. Lawrence also gained valuable experience as a Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting, where they worked with clients to identify business needs and develop effective solutions.

Throughout their career, Lawrence has demonstrated a strong focus on operational excellence, standardization, and improving patient access and collections. Lawrence has a proven track record in driving strategic initiatives and delivering superior client service.

Lawrence Friedman obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Market Research Consumer Behavior from Baruch College in 1982. In 1993, they completed their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Healthcare Policy Management from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
