Laura Stewart

Laura Stewart is an experienced communications and marketing professional with a demonstrated history of supporting integrated strategic communications, marketing, branding, and digital/social media initiatives. Currently serving as a Social Media Strategist at Shady Side Academy since February 2024, Laura previously held the role of Communications and Marketing Manager at The Putney School from August 2018 to February 2024. Laura's background includes positions such as Communications and Marketing Associate and Teaching Apprentice at The Putney School Summer Programs, BYFA Teacher at The Johns Hopkins University, and various teaching and administrative roles at the Maryland Institute College of Art, where Laura directed the Wilgus Gallery. Laura holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the Maryland Institute College of Art, earned in 2018, and completed general education at Seneca Valley High School.
