Carla A. Komar has over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry. Carla A. is currently the VP Design at Shahi Exports Pvt Ltd, where they opened a US Design office and leads a team of designers. Previously, they worked at Hansae Fashion Worldwide as the Sr Director of Global Trend for the US Division, overseeing the NY branch and serving as a liaison between headquarters and US retailers. Carla has also held positions as Design Director at Sears Holdings Corporation, Senior Design Director at Rashti and Rashti, and Senior Design Director at Q4 Designs. Carla A. began their career at Target Corporation as a Sr. Designer-Manager and has also worked at Happy Kids, In Excess, and Haddad Brands. Throughout their career, Carla has demonstrated expertise in trend forecasting, merchandising, and cross-functional collaboration.

Carla A. Komar obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design from Wittenberg University, where they attended from 1988 to 1992.
