Rafik Adel has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. Rafik started their career as a Quality Control Engineer at Link Development in 2015, and then moved on to Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Test Analyst in 2016.
In 2017, Rafik joined Instabug as a Test Automation Engineer, where they focused on testing the SDK mobile, backend, and frontend. Rafik also played a key role in building two of the company's main products.
Afterward, Rafik advanced to the position of Senior Test Automation Engineer at Instabug, taking responsibility for building the backend automation framework and implementing automation first processes within the development and testing process. Rafik also contributed to the expansion of the team from 7 members to over 30.
In 2019, they joined TestPRO | Software Testing Services as a Test Automation Instructor, utilizing their expertise to train others in the field. Finally, in 2023, Rafik became the Quality Control Team Lead at Shahry, where they currently work.
Rafik Adel holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Misr International University, which was completed between 2011 and 2015. Additionally, Rafik has obtained a Backend Automation & Mobile Testing Nano degree from Udacity. Rafik also holds various certifications, including "Managing Your Time" obtained in 2017 and multiple LinkedIn certifications in areas such as Ruby Essential Training, Test Automation with Python, and Performance Testing Foundations, all obtained in 2023. Rafik has also completed their American Diploma at St.Fatima American School.

We source products exclusively from reputable merchants and allow monthly repayment of purchases through digital payments, credit cards, or Egypt’s vast network of over 200k PoS. Shahry is also Egypt’s only startup funded and partnered with a regulated bank, allowing us unlimited to access financing and industry expertise to build a radical and innovative fintech platform. This is an example of the stuff that allows us to geek out: automating credit scorecards, digitizing behavioral footprints, (automating) user profiling, and rocking the boat in general.
