Sheikh Atif Aziz, FCA has a comprehensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sheikh Atif started their career as an Audit Trainee at KPMG Taseer Hadi Khalid & Co., where they performed internal and external audits for corporate and non-corporate clients. Sheikh Atif then joined Amir Alam Khan & Co. as a Senior Audit Trainee and worked their way up to Audit and Tax Manager, gaining experience in conducting audits, tax computations, and corporate and secretarial services for a range of industries.
In 2003, Sheikh Atif Aziz joined Tri-Pack Films Limited as the Deputy Comptroller of Accounts, where they implemented the code of corporate governance and successfully changed the company's objects clause. Sheikh Atif later worked as a Group Internal Auditor at Saudi German Hospitals Group, leading a team in internal audit and risk management.
In 2005, Sheikh Atif Aziz became the General Manager of Mahr Garments, responsible for the turnaround of a loss-making unit into a profit center. Their responsibilities included business and general management, business development, strategic planning and execution, and financial management.
Since 2008, Sheikh Atif Aziz has been working at Shaigan Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd. as the General Manager Finance, reporting directly to the CEO as Group CFO. In this role, they handled financial management, planning and analysis, feasibility studies, financial accounting and reporting, budgeting and control, risk and governance, taxation management, and corporate affairs. Sheikh Atif also achieved a significant reduction in selling expenses through effective budgeting and control tools.
Throughout their career, Sheikh Atif Aziz has demonstrated strong leadership skills in staff development and training, team building, and staff motivation. Sheikh Atif has consistently achieved impressive results, such as detecting significant fraud and transforming struggling units into profit centers.
Sheikh Atif Aziz, FCA obtained their Chartered Accountant degree in Finance and Accounts from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, where they studied from 1998 to 2002.
