Usman Iqbal holds diverse academic and professional roles in health informatics and digital health transformation. Currently serving as Branch Councillor for the Victorian and Tasmanian Branch of the Australasian College of Health Service Management and as a Committee Member for AI in Healthcare with Standards Australia, Usman also participates in the Telehealth Working Group of the International Medical Informatics Association. Usman has held positions as an Adjunct Associate Professor at UNSW and Visiting Associate Professor at Taipei Medical University since 2016, and serves as Senior Clinical Data Consultant for Digital Health Transformation at the Department of Health in Tasmania. Additionally, Usman contributes as Associate Editor for BMJ Health & Care Informatics and holds editorial roles with Oxford University Press and the International Journal for Quality in Health Care. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Health Informatics from Taipei Medical University, an MBA in Health Administration, and a Pharm.D. from Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology.
