John Rizzo

John Rizzo is an experienced technology leader with over two decades in the field of educational technology. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Technology for Shaker Heights City School District since July 2014, John Rizzo previously held positions as the ICT Coordinator and Computer Technician/Webmaster for Mayfield City Schools from August 2003 to July 2014. Earlier in their career, John Rizzo worked as a Senior Software Developer at Maximus Justice Solutions from September 1999 to July 2004. John Rizzo holds a Master of Education in Educational/Instructional Technology from Kent State University, obtained in 2011, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Kent State University, completed in 1999. Additional education was pursued at Utica University from 2019 to 2020.
