Girish Mehendale

Girish Mehendale has over 20 years of experience in the paint industry. GIRISH started their career as a Jr. Technical Officer in Research & Development at ASIAN PAINTS in 1999 and later progressed to the role of Sr. Technical Officer. In 2008, Girish joined Jotun as a Senior Regional R&D Chemist, where they focused on developing water-based formulations for interior and exterior surfaces. GIRISH also evaluated raw materials and assisted in production trials. Since 2016, Girish has been working at Shalimar Paints as the Head of R&D in Decorative Technology, where they have worked on low VOC paint development, vendor creation, and outsourcing activities.

Girish Mehendale attended the University of Mumbai, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. GIRISH also pursued further studies at the same university and obtained a Master's Degree in Organic Chemistry. The exact start and end years for both degrees are not provided.
