Praveen Veeramalla

Praveen Veeramalla has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, spanning over a decade. Praveen currently holds the position of Head Corporate Quality / Global Head Quality at Shalina Healthcare since 2021. Previously, they worked at SUN PHARMA as the General Manager Corporate Quality from 2019 to 2021, and as the Deputy General Manager-Corporate Quality Audit (Head Europe & Asia Region) from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Manager Global Quality (GQA) APMEA Region at Sanofi from 2013 to 2015, and as a Manager QA Audit (APAC) at Teva Pharmaceuticals from 2011 to 2013. Praveen also worked at Polpharma as an External Manufacturing QA & Quality Auditor (APAC) in 2011. Praveen started their career at Alkem Laboratories Ltd as the Head Of Manufacturing Quality Assurance from 2009 to 2010, and as the Deputy Manager - Corporate Quality Assurance from 2010 to 2011, where they were responsible for various quality functions, audits, compliance, and harmonization of quality systems.

Praveen Veeramalla completed a Master's degree in Microbiology from Doctor Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University from 2000 to 2002. Praveen then pursued a diploma in Quality Assurance and Quality Control Management from IPER from 2003 to 2004. Praveen also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Kakatiya University (University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences) from 1996 to 1999. In 2022, they attended the Indian School of Business for the Global Leadership Program.
