Jaclyn Lester

Jaclyn Lester has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Jaclyn started their career as a Sales Manager at LTD Hospitality Group in December 2011 and stayed there until May 2013. Jaclyn then joined the Newport News Hospitality Association in September 2013 as a Treasurer, where they were responsible for managing dues and funds for the association. Concurrently, they were also working as a Certified Marriott World Class Trainer, starting in October 2013. In May 2013, they became the Director of Sales at Shamin Hotels, where they managed various responsibilities including sales, marketing, revenue management, and event planning. Jaclyn also held the role of Area Sales Manager for the Residence Inn Marriott Newport News Airport and Hampton Inn Hampton Newport News under Shamin Hotels. Overall, Jaclyn Lester has over 7 years of experience in hotel sales, revenue management, and association management.

Jaclyn Lester attended Radford University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication & Public Relations. Jaclyn also completed additional certifications in Sales, Revenue Management, Event Management, eCommerce, and Marketing through Marriott Hotels in October 2013.
