Justin Mak

As part of the private equity team at Shanda, Justin is responsible for all of the legal-related aspects of the firm’s private equity transactions. Justin is actively involved in the private equity group’s investment process and has sourced and led several early stage venture capital investments. In addition, he oversees legal matters related to the firm’s overseas commercial real estate investments.

Prior to joining Shanda, Justin was an Associate at international law firm Shearman & Sterling LLP. Before attending law school, Justin worked as an analyst at Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse.

Justin has a B.A. in History from Columbia University and a JD from Columbia University School of Law.
