Desmond Alexander

Desmond Alexander has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, currently serving as Director of Rooms at Shangri-La Group since February 2010 and previously holding various managerial positions within the same organization, including Manager, Rooms, Corporate Rooms Manager, Front Office Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, and Duty Manager. Prior to Shangri-La, Desmond held roles such as Rooms Div Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager at PALASIA HOTEL PALAU, and had experience as Assistant Front Office Manager and Duty Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton, formerly Crown Princess Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Earlier career highlights include time at Millennium Hotel and Resort, associated with Copthorne Hotel, Cameron Highlands, and Strawberry Park Resort, following completion of education at Reliance College from 1999 to 2001.
