Hi Chong Sylvia Ko

Hi Chong Sylvia Ko has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Legal Counsel at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts since March 2015. Prior to this role, Ko held positions as Senior Associate at Allen & Overy from July 2008 to January 2015, Solicitor & Prosecutor at Inland Revenue NZ from August 2006 to June 2008, and Solicitor & Barrister at Sorensen Law from September 2004 to July 2006. Ko began the legal career as a Solicitor at Kenton Chambers from July 2003 to July 2004. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution from The University of Hong Kong (2012-2014), another Master of Laws (LLM) in Commercial Law from The University of Auckland (2003-2007), and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Bachelor of Arts (Mandarin) from The University of Auckland (1998-2002).
