Soon Tiang Ooi

Soon Tiang Ooi possesses extensive experience in IT project and treasury management spanning over two decades. Currently, Soon Tiang Ooi serves as Assistant Vice President of Treasury Management at Shangri-La Group, overseeing the relaunch of the Traders brand and the development of its technology stack. Previously, Soon Tiang Ooi held roles such as Assistant Director of IT PMO at Melco Resorts & Entertainment, managing a team of 16 Project Managers across multiple properties, and Global Project and Resource Management Lead at T-Systems, where leadership encompassed a team of 25-50 managers for Shell Global infrastructure projects. Early career experience includes positions at Shell, MCSB Systems Berhad, Citi, and BHL Bank, with a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology from Coventry University obtained between 1997 and 1999.
