Dana Power

Dana Power has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in senior living communities. Starting in 1998 at Shannex Inc, Dana held various roles including Director of Support Services, Business Analyst, and General Manager. In 2013, Dana joined Mount Saint Vincent University as an Associate Professor. However, in the same year, Dana also started working at Shannex Incorporated as a General Manager for a retirement living community. Later on, Dana took on the role of Regional Director Operations Enhanced Care NS at Shannex Incorporated and eventually became the Vice President of Operations in 2022. Throughout their career, Dana has gained expertise in operations, management, and providing a full continuum of services for seniors.

Dana Power obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Services from Mount Saint Vincent University in the years 1990 to 1994. Later, from 2009 to 2012, Dana pursued a Master of Education (MEd) in Lifelong Learning at the same university. In 2015, they attended Dalhousie University to complete a Certificate in Executive Leadership from the Rowe School of Business, focusing on Business Leadership.
