Jaimy Schwarber joined the Fairbanks geotechnical team in January 2022 after completing her BS and MS degrees in Geological Engineering at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Her professional interests include geohazards in cold regions, and she has participated in Alaskan-based research on frozen debris lobes, retrogressive thaw slumps, and landslides. As part of her graduate thesis, she developed the first published landslide inventory map of any region in Alaska.
Since joining Shannon & Wilson, Jaimy has been highly involved with fieldwork along the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System, performing site observation, instrumentation rehabilitation and installation, and logging soil during drilling efforts.
