Steve Adamczak

Steve Adamczak has more than 38 years of experience in Alaska and has been involved in more than 2,400 geotechnical projects throughout the state. He has extensive experience in the geotechnical design of foundations, roadways, and earth structures in continuous and discontinuous permafrost as well as thawed soils, with many innovative designs to his credit. He has developed specific recommendations for assessments of geologic hazards and geotechnical design concerns (i.e., liquefaction and other seismic hazards), slope stability, permafrost thaw settlement, foundation bearing capacity, and stability of earthwork structures, slope stability, excavations, dewatering, and groundwater control.
