M.D. Hafiz al Asad

Md Hafiz Al Asad, PMP®, MBA, CSCM™ has a wealth of experience in project management and engineering roles. Md Hafiz Al Asad, currently serves as the Chief Project Management Officer (CPMO) at Shanta Holdings Limited, where they are responsible for developing and implementing project management strategies across various projects. Prior to this, they held the same role at Epyllion Group, where they focused on creating and implementing best practices in engineering and project management. Md Hafiz Al Asad, also served as the General Manager and Head of Engineering and Project Management at Epyllion Group, as well as the Deputy General Manager in the same field. Before their time at Epyllion Group, Md Hafiz Al Asad worked at Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd., where they held senior and managerial roles in engineering projects. Md Hafiz Al Asad, began their career in the Bangladesh Army, where they served in various positions, including as a Director of Civil Engineering Projects and an Instructor Class B. Md Hafiz Al Asad, also worked as a Project Engineer for the United Nations in Liberia. With their strong background in project management, engineering, and leadership, Md Hafiz Al Asad brings a breadth of expertise to their current role.

Md Hafiz Al Asad, PMP®, MBA, CSCM™, holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) degree from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, earned between 2014 and 2016. Md Hafiz Al Asad, also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) from 2008 to 2012. In 2013, they received certifications as a Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM) from the International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA), USA, and as a Post Graduate Diploma holder in Supply Chain Management (PGDSCM) and Human Resource Management (PGDHRM) from The Association of Business Practitioners (ABP), UK. Prior to these achievements, Asad completed a Bachelor of Science (Pass) from the National University of Bangladesh from 1998 to 2000, as well as a Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) and a Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in Science from the Barisal Cadet College (BCC) in 1997 and 1992-1996, respectively. Furthermore, Asad has additional certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute in 2022, and they were awarded "Best Debator in Bengali Debate Competition, Senior Group" during their time at Barisal Cadet College (BCC) in 1997.
