Sonali Powar has extensive experience in research support, currently serving as a Research Assistant at Shantilal Muttha Foundation since June 2014. Prior to this role, Sonali worked as a Research Assistant at Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration from August 2013 to June 2014 and as a Project Trainee at Shree Bhagwanrao Napate Foundation from May 2012 to July 2013. Sonali holds a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) from D.K. Shinde School Of Social Work, SIBER College, Kolhapur (2010-2012) and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Shivaji University (2007-2010). Sonali completed secondary education with 12th grade in 2006-2007 and 10th grade in 2004-2005.

The vision of SMF is to ensure that all children get an education that will help them become caring, responsible and productive citizens, by engaging with the school system in a proactive and collaborative manner, building on the strengths of all stakeholders. The mission is to help school-systems, schools and teachers enrich their capacities for fostering the all-round development of children.
